Youth Ministry:

We know what we saw on what? The Vision we received from God was not about my ministry or my vision, it is all about God choosing a generation in answer the prayers of many God’s people who had prayed for long time by faith for the visitation of God.  In my walk with the Lord I see everywhere many people especially young people who reflects the characteristics of Jesus Christ on their dreams

DIEM’S youth ministry is providing biblical leadership training, counseling mentoring for high school, collage, and University students.  The program will form partnerships with local churches, and with non profit organizations.  Our youth ministry’s goal is commitment to youth people that will promote counseling, friendships, strong interpersonal skills with our passion a sense of hope in the future generation.

Our vision is stressed in four parts of the Great Commission:

  1. To go and make Disciples- we shall exist to SEND ourselves to those who are hurting among us or have lost their way, to those who may not know  Jesus Christ, to those who are the weary, and the weak in their believes in the Lord.

  2. Baptizing them: we shall exist to SHARE the good news of Jesus Christ with each other as well as those in our community, nation, and the world through our words in action.

  3. Teaching them- we shall exist to SURROUND our youth with opportunities for spiritual growth, safe learning environments, and Biblical truths in their daily life.

  4. Therefore, the purpose of DIEM Youth Ministry is: SHARE God’s love by creating an environment that SURROUNDS youth with encouragement and understanding to then SEND them forth empowered and equipped as a Disciple of Christ.

Our daily operation begins in prayer. I cannot stress enough the importance of prayer in the whole process of vision casting. Your mission, your vision, they have to be inspired by God. All the plans in the world cannot benefit your youth ministry if you don’t build on what God has planned for you to do (Eph. 2:10).

Take the time for the whole process to seek His will for your youth ministry, to pray and then pray some more. It may seem like a lot of work, but this process ensures that the dreams you have for the future will actually become reality, by the grace of God. Tomorrow we’ll go into a bit more detail on creating an operational year plan.

To be an extension ministry of the church committed to equip and challenge our young people to be living examples of the Great Commandment and Great Commission.

To preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to all men, women, boys & girls to bring them in to the kingdom of God.  To be an extension ministry of the church committed to equip and challenge our young people to be living examples of the Great Commandment and Great Commission to their generation.

  1. Devoting ourselves to Christ
  2. Connecting our lives with the truth
  3. Building up and Serving one another
  4. Reaching out people by the gospel of Jesus in Love

PURPOSE:   DEVOTING…We desire to know Jesus in a deep, personal way. Because we believe all that the Bible says about God’s love for us, we want to love Him back by worshiping Him with all our heart, mind, soul and strength.

BUILDING…We desire to build unity among the youth, family, church, and community. Jesus said that people would know you are my disciples by your love for one another. God not only wants us to connect with Him, but also with others too. We do this by giving special time for fellowship at all our gatherings.

SERVING.…We desire to follow the example of Jesus life, ministry…He did not come to this earth to be served but to serve and to give His life for others. God has given each of us a special gift/talent to serve others with and we desire to develop these gifts among the youth for the glory of God.

REACHING… We desire to tell the world of God’s great love. Jesus told us to go out and share the Good NEWS. We do this by encouraging the youth to reach out to their friends, teaching them how to share their faith and giving them opportunities to minister through outreaches and missions trips.

AREAS OF MINISTRY: THE CORE- Our commitment or devoted to build up collage/ University students who desire to have a deeper relationship with God and to live a life centered on Jesus Christ. (1 cor. 3:P11).

MENTORING-  Jesus was the master mentor and He has called us to do the same. It is demonstrated throughout the Bible as each protégé would eventually become a mentor themselves to another person. Jethro mentored Moses;

Moses mentored Joshua and the elders of Israel; Joshua mentored the other army leaders.

As Disciples of Christ, Mentoring will partner adult saints with youth to make a spiritual deposit in the life of a child for the sake of the Kingdom. This will not only facilitate their growth in Christ, but also should also improve their relationships with their family and promote their positive growth into adulthood.

BELIEFS & VALUES- We believe as the International ministry the Youth Ministry to be the ministry of  the local church and that is conducted for, with, and by young people.  We believe the body of Christ in operating in accordance with the word of God/ the Holy Scripture through the power of the Holy Spirit of God.

  • This means that the ministry will strive for excellence in events and programs, however making relationships with the youth the primary focus.
  • We believe that being a people-focused ministry will foster the personal development of the individual gifts of the youth, thus making it possible to drive young people towards spiritual maturity.
  • This, in turn, will duly enrich the Kingdom of God with youthful, faithful servants who have the ability to minister to others and assist in the vision of bringing the “un-churched” into a personal relationship with God through our lord Jesus Christ by preaching and teach the gospel.

WORSHIP- Often the very first or the most personal experience young people will have with Triumph Church is through weekend worship.

  • We should teach them how to worship and why we worship Christ everyday in our lives not only one day of the week.
  • Youth participates in a worship service to learn HOW to praise God through worship within the families Sunday morning. Worship options include corporate worship services on Saturday or Sunday.
  • To be good examples, Youth does NOT have to be a member of the church or your ministry. Rom 12:1; 1 Pet. 2:5; John 4:1-26

WORD-  DIEM Aims to provide a Biblical teaching principle that will help them to be mature young people as disciples of Jesus Christ, so that they understand how to apply Christian principles to their lives

  • A key component of being a Christian is becoming a disciple of Jesus Christ. Discipleship is gained by studying the Bible (the word of God), then translating it to daily life. Opportunities for youth to learn the Bible. John 8:31-32, Matthew 7:24

WORK- DIEM creates an environment of fellowship and stewardship that gives young people an open door that will interactions with adult’s saints to further develop young people spiritually. We are committed to help adult to be spiritual parents to youth people.

  • According Eph.4:11-and Eph.6:10-18-Armed with a foundation of Biblical education and praise & worship, youth will understand the importance of good deeds and WHY they are sharing their life in order to glorify God and to be a blessing to others.
  • Opportunities for youth to work in ministry include Youth Council, Youth Media, Youth Ushers, & the Youthful Praise the living Jesus Christ in their life.

He was born of a virgin (Matthew 1:18-23); He lived a sinless life (Heb. 7:26, 1 Peter 2:22, 1 John 3:4-5); He performed many miracles (Acts 10:37-38); He died for our sins on the cross (2 Cor. 5:21, 1 Peter 2:24); His body was resurrected from the dead (Matthew 28:1-6, Cor. 15:4);  He sits at the right hand of God (Acts 2:32-36).
  3. CHRIST’S RETURN: We believe that Jesus Christ will literally return to earth.
  4. HOLY SPIRIT: We believe that God the Holy Spirit is active in convincing unbelievers of their Sin for salvation, and is the Comforter and Guide Who lived in every believer. (John14:25-26)

  7. ASSURANCE:  We believe that every person who is truly saved and walking according the word of God is eternally secure in the Lord Jesus Christ.
  8. ETERNITY: We believe that those persons who die in their sins without Christ spend eternity in Hell and those persons who die with their sins forgiven through Christ spend eternity in Heaven. (Rev. 20:11-15, John 14:2-3, 2 Cor. 5:1).
  9. BAPTISM:  We believe that water baptism is an act of obedience to the command of Jesus Christ and is by immersion after salvation. (Mark 16:15, Matthew 28:19).
